The Importance of Being Earnest
A comedic play by Oscar Wilde, first performed in 1895, The Importance of Being Earnest is a satire on Victorian society, focusing on the absurdities of social conventions, identity, and marriage.

The story revolves around two young men, Jack Worthing and Algernon Moncrieff, who both lead double lives in order to escape societal expectations. As the story unfolds, misunderstandings and mistaken identities ensue, leading to a series of humorous and absurd situations.

Wilde uses the play to mock the absurdities of social conventions, class, and the trivial nature of identity, while also delivering sharp dialogue and satirical commentary.

HADESTOWN
TEEN EDITION
This intriguing and beautiful folk opera delivers a deeply resonant and defiantly hopeful theatrical experience. Following two intertwining love stories – that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of immortal King Hades and lady Persephone – Hadestown invites audiences on a hell-raising journey to the underworld and back. Inspired by traditions of classic American folk music and vintage New Orleans jazz, Mitchell’s beguiling sung-through musical pits industry against nature, doubt against faith, and fear against love
